Blackberry Operating System Installation
Purpose: This article presents the Blackberry Operating System installation procedure.
Update the operating system is needed to improve device performance. RIM provides the operating system for free at www.blackberry.com web site, click on this link to download the operating system to suit your device, it is advisable to select the appropriate operator you use.
Appropriate operating system improve device performance in terms of memory, resource management, speed and compatibility of applications.

Equipment:
PC installed with Blackberry Desktop Manager
Software OS appropriate
USB cable
Procedure:
Data Backup
Run Desktop ManagerConnect your Blackberry to the PC via USB cable
Perform Backup Blackberry (= important!), Name and date of the backup file (*. IPD)
Unplug your Blackberry from PC
Close the Desktop Manager
Prepare the OS to be used
Install OS
Browse to the folder using explorer apploader, usually located in C: \ Program Files \ Common Files \ Research In Motion \ apploader
Delete vendor.xml file in the directory apploader
Connect your Blackberry with the USB cable
Wipe Blackberry with JL Commander or BBSAK until it says Error 507
Run loader.exe program in the directory apploader
Click Next until the installation is complete
Select the options you want to install your own
Wait until the OS load process is complete
Run Desktop Manager to restore the process of data
