"Former President Mandela will undergo medical treatment from time to time, this treatment is associated with increasing age. President Jacob Zuma to ensure that Madiba (Mandela) stay healthy," said a statement from the office of the President of South Africa, as quoted by Reuters on Sunday (9 / 12/2012).
In February, 94-year-old man was also taken to hospital suffering from tremendous pain in his stomach. Mandela also have begun rare public appearance.
Mandela rose as the first black president of South Africa, through an election in the year 1994. Today, Mandela spend more time at home, which is located in the village of Qunu, Eastern Cape Province.
He was also known as an anti-Apharteid fighters in Africa and received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993. In 1962 ago, Mandela was arrested for his activities and detained in prison Johannesburg Fort. While Mandela was sentenced to five years in prison, many of his colleagues were sentenced to life imprisonment.
To date, Zuma also called Mandela as someone who was very much loved South African citizens. Even Zuma claims, Mandela is a figure well loved by all people in the world.
