April, Xbox & PS4 Announced with "Apple Style"

JAKARTA - PlayStation 4 (PS 4) and the new Xbox is rumored to be debuting in March 2013. According to sources, Microsoft and Sony will show off their new console at a press conference "Apple style" at the Game Developers Conference.

"We heard that the stores Sony and Microsoft will use Apple-style press conference to launch their new platform near the end of the Game Developers Conference next March," writes Game Informer as quoted by Digital Spy, Wednesday (01/16/2013).

"Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in June to be the way the industry's largest, but both of these companies have their own way to be highlighted," he continued.

Meanwhile, Baird Equity Research analyst Colin Sebastian predicted that the price of the latest consoles from Microsoft and Sony will be priced at USD350 price range (Rp3, 3 million) to USD400 (Rp3, 8 million).

Sebastian pegged the price tag is based on components from a number of companies involved in the development and distribution of video games for the event the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013.

PS 4 is rumored to be supporting 4K resolution technology, Blue-ray, and shipped at an affordable price. Meanwhile, the latest Xbox, Microsoft will be powered quad-core processor, 8GB of RAM, and reinforced with a second-generation Microsoft Kinect technology. (FMH)
