Prepare Sony PlayStation Store Web Version

LAS VEGAS - On the mat CES 2013, Shawn Layden who is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Sony Network Entertaintment, revealed that Sony will launch a web browser version of the PlayStation Store.

Quoted from Cnet, Friday (01/11/2013), the latest version of the PlayStation Store will allow players around the world to browse and purchase titles. The players will get the ease of buying games through the browser and get automated content will download in the PlayStation 3.

The new design PlayStation Store in attendance recently, generating double-digit growth in the U.S. and Europe. It is shown that users enjoy the design change, from the old design that has lasted for almost six years.

Shop Online is owned by the Japanese company is still in the fairly early stages, but Layden confirmed that this is a new move from Sony. "We have a partner, we have the tools and presence at retail. We hope that the snowball effect in 2013 provides a good effect, "said Layden.
