MANAMA - Technology Global Positioning System (GPS) was not only used to track the location of roads or buildings. In Bahrain, the technology is used to help parents track the movement of their children.

Reported Tradearabia, Sunday (03/31/2013), plans are underway to bring GPS technology is used as a tool to track the presence of children. Ali Venture International Holding Company based in Manama and a group of investors from the Indian state of Kerala agreed to develop advanced devices based on GPS.
According to the Gulf Daily News, they will manufacture and sell the device in Bahrain. The device is intended for parents and schools, then targeting the corporate and private customers.
GPS is reportedly going to be used by the school through the monitoring of teachers to track children from a centralized control room. "In the future, this technology could be expanded to include teachers and other school staff in order to maximize efficiency and reduce waste," said Ali Hassan, Ali Head of Venture International Holding Company.
He said the technology is not only used for institutions or companies, but also individuals. Hassan revealed that he has received a lot of requests from people who are interested in buying a GPS device.
Sophisticated GPS devices can be worn around one's neck. Moreover, the device can also be shaped like a card in your wallet or bracelet stored as a bookmark identity. (FMH)
