TOKYO - Japan's Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NRA) reported a dangerous radioactive substance found leaking from Japan Atomic Energy Agency laboratory. The lab is located in Ibaraki Prefecture.
Approximately 55 researchers and several people who were in the area was allegedly exposed to radiation because of inhalation of air that is mixed with radioactive material. However, the NRA said that no one who is sent to the hospital today.
The leak occurred at 11:15 local time. The accident triggered in the event of damage in one of the nuclear facility on Thursday. Similarly, as reported by Kyodo on Saturday (05/25/2013).
As known four investigators on Thursday declared exposed to radiation. The researchers are conducting experiments to bring the particles by firing a beam of protons. They tested it in Tokaimura.
During this time, the Japanese nuclear facility security problem has become an important concern. In 2011, Japan suffered the most devastating nuclear disaster in 25 years. Right after Sakura was hit by the tsunami, the Fukushima nuclear reactors too shaken. (AUL)
