Wireless LAN using elektromagetik waves (radio and infrared) to perform data communication to transmit data from one point to another point without the physical facilities. This connection uses specific frequencies to transmit data, most Wireless LAN using the 2.4 GHz frequency. In some products this equipment uses PCMCIA Card with 11 Mbps capability. There is often a misunderstanding here.
