SIMILAR with the school, the course also has a variety of extracurricular activities or the so-called Student Activity Unit (SMEs). However, many types of SMEs in college sometimes makes us confused SMEs choices. Until the end without realizing it, we have passed without ever follow any of the SMEs.

Following SME has many benefits. In addition to channel their talents and interests, SMEs are a means for us to add a collection of friends and add a long row of organizational experience on a resume. Similarly, as quoted from College Candy, Wednesday (10/10/2012).

When choosing an SME, the thing we have to consider is what kind of activity actually want to do? For students who are active and need more exercise, the SME field sports such as soccer, basketball, futsal, badminton, taekwondo, and hockey is a good option for them.

However, if the shape of the targeted activity is to increase the portfolio career, it would be more appropriate to choose groups that are related to academic interests and career ambitions. For the aspiring journalist, students can take advantage of the campus magazine.

As for medical and nursing students, may choose SMEs engaged in the field of health and safety. And, for future lawyers, students can begin to hone their ability to argue or debate with SME Model UN.

There are many SMEs that are available on campus to discover interests and talents and develop them. Should not hesitate to ask one of the members and officials of a SME that we like about the ins and outs, workout schedules, and a variety of activities undertaken by SMEs. If necessary, come one or two times when SMEs are met. Do not commit to come back if it turns out that the group is not for us. (Mrg)
