Twitter & Facebook "Missing" on Xbox 360 Marketplace



CALIFORNIA - Microsoft has launched the latest version of the Xbox 360 dashboard earlier this week. Unfortunately from the renewal was revealed that Facebook and Twitter apps are not available on the Xbox 360 Marketplace.

Applications may have been deleted, but Internet Explorer has been created and is available on Xbox 360. Although the Facebook application is not available in the Marketplace, users who previously had accused the application, they can run it through the "My Apps". Thus quoted from Neowin, Friday (10/19/2012).

To note, on 17 November 2009, Microsoft released a Facebook app and Twitter for the Xbox 360. Today, after three years, the application is no longer available on consoles from Microsoft for download.

Prior to the launch of the latest dashboard, Microsoft has not indicated will delete Facebook applications and Twitter. Information loss of both the application is not see a bright spot.

In the meantime, the site Neowin try to confirm the news to Microsoft. "We retired Facebook and Twitter applications. Customers Xbox LIVE will gain access through Internet Explorer on Xbox available on the App Hub, located in the new dashboard," said the company. (FMH)
