Ericsson "Desperate" Block Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II

CALIFORNIA - Still quite warm in our memory about the patent dispute between Apple and Samsung, but now, the South Korean company again accused of violating patents owned by Ericsson.

Quoted from Mashable, Wednesday (28/11/2012), the Swedish company filed a lawsuit against Samsung on Tuesday (27/11) to a court in Texas. In the claim file, Ericsson claims that Samsung violated 24 patents about his hardware and software.

From this claim Ericsson asked the court to block sales of Samsung products including the Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II, Camera, TV and Blue-ray devices.

In two complaints filed Ericsson, the company asked Samsung to renew licenses Ericsson proprietary technology, the article of a company based in South Korea was related to lower pay than other companies that license.

Responding to these demands, Samsung said, "This time Ericsson demanding higher royalty rates for the same portfolio. We do not accept such demands, we will take the necessary legal steps to counter exaggerated claims Ericsson."

Again, this case shows how competitive technology industry characterized a number of patent infringement cases, especially Samsung who is familiar with this problem. Some time ago, the California court asking Apple to pay a fine of more than $ 1 billion to Apple-related patent dispute.
