RIM Proven Violating Patents Nokia?

CALIFORNIA - Nokia said on Wednesday (27/11) that an arbitrator supports it for the lawsuit to the manufacturer of BlackBerry, Research In Motion (RIM) related to the use of Nokia patents on technology Wireless Local Access Network (WLAN).

"It was found that RIM violated the contract and do not have the right to manufacture or sell WLAN products without paying royalties to Nokia," said a company based in Finland, as reported by Reuters on Wednesday (11/28/2012).

The company now has the ultimate weapon Lumia be able to compete with the iPhone and Android that have filed similar claims in the United States (U.S.), United Kingdom, and Canada to crack down on abuses this RIM.

Meanwhile, RIM would not comment Nokia filed a lawsuit related to his company's.

To note, the WLAN is a local area network that uses radio waves as the transmission medium for transmitting in connection or network connection between devices. Most equipment is qualified Wi-Fi, IEEE 802.11b or IEEE 802.11g accommodation and offers several levels of security such as WEP or WPA. (FMH)
