Turkey: Some New Country at the UN, Palestine

NEW YORK - Turkey welcomes Palestinian victory in the United Nations (UN) with enthusiasm. Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu called reception directly with President Mahmoud Abbas at the residence Turkevi the Turkish diplomatic missions in the United States (U.S.).

"This is the victory of Palestinian citizens, this victory belongs to those who died in the land of Palestine. I salute to all citizens of Palestine in the West Bank and Gaza," Davutoglu said while remembering the Gaza conflict, as quoted Anadolu, Friday (11/30/2012 ).

Davutoglu explained, the first Palestinian have the status of "non-state" but now they've become a "Palestinian State." Davutoglu also explained that Abbas intends to visit Turkey.

"Late decision, the Palestinian Authority transformed into Palestinian State. Currently, there is a new country in the United Nations that is Palestine, which have got exclusive status," he added.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan also conveyed greetings successful Abbas renewed his country into monitoring status at the UN. Erdogan calls Abbas and Abbas also thanked to Erdogan that has been supporting Palestine.

Turkish support to Palestina indeed great, Erdogan also intends to visit Gaza dramatically during the next week. Plan that has been said Erdogan and Hamas leader Khaled Meshal currently still in Egypt. Erdogan dining Meshal completed and returned to his homeland. (AUL)
