Asus Announces Latest OS Windows 8 Ultrabook

JAKARTA - Asus, electronic hardware and software vendors from Taiwan recently announced a series of new flagship product line. Brought together a Windows 8 operating system, a number of series such as Asus ultrabook Zenbook Prime, VivoBook, Transformer Book TX300 officially introduced in the country.

Starting 2013, Asus did not hesitate poured latest gadget products, including the most recent Prime Zenbook. Prime Zenbook is powered by the new operating system from Microsoft and has touch screen support.

"Prime Zenbook made in such a way as to pick the perfect HD multimedia features in a slim form factor. Addition, the ultrabook also comes with support for third-generation Intel Core processor, IPS display, Solid State Drive (SSD) and a backlit keyboard," said Juliana Cen, Manager of Product Management & Marketing Asus Indonesia.

Ultrabook with 13.3-inch screen is priced at USD1599 or Rp15 million. It has a 128GB storage, USB 3.0 connectivity features, Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi.

Asus VivoBook
Furthermore Juliana said, Asus VivoBook appear attractive, reliable and has a very portable design. VivoBook Asus has also performed with two variants, VivoBook S200 series (11.6-inch screen) and S400 (14-inch screen).

"The two models that have been presented Asus VivoBook embodies a new way of providing computing experience that is intuitive and fun to the users," he added. Asus VivoBook variant that carries Intel Dual Core, Core i3 or i5 is priced from USD489 to USD719 (Rp 4, 6 million - Rp 6, 9 million).

Transformer Book TX300
Juliana said, Transformer Book is the world's first convertible ultrabook. Portable computer device is claimed to be very innovative, because the user can make a tablet device by simply removing the screen from the keyboard.

Transformer Book TX300 carrying third-generation Intel Core processors, the Core i5 or Core i7. Ultrabook 13.3-inch full HD sail also has a memory of 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD storage (on the screen) and an additional 500GB hard disk in its detachable keyboard.

Carrying the power of the Intel HD Graphics 4000 graphics, ultrabook with premium features USB 3.0, Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi is priced starting from USD1399 (approximately Rp13, 4 million) and USD1699 (approximately Rp16, 3 million). (FMH)
