Endangered African Safari!

AFRICA - During this trip to Africa is known to enjoy the life of the animals in the wild. It is not possible if any minute traveler can not enjoy it because of endangered African lions.

West African lions is on the verge of extinction, their numbers are reduced drastically marked recent years. Currently, the number is estimated to be only 645 tails in west and central Africa, while 34 lions living spread in Nigeria.

The lions can still be enjoyed in the area of ​​Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Central African Republic, Cameroon, and Chad. Unfortunately, in Ghnana, Ivory Coast, Togo and the lions had been declared extinct.

Approximately 30 years ago, it was estimated there were 200,000 lions still roam the entire continent of Africa, but now the number lived 15,000 to 32,000 birds. In fact, data from Nigeria revealed that in 2009 there are approximately 44 lions, now only 34 remaining lions.

The lions are threatened by a variety of factors, such as loss of habitat, loss of natural prey due to poaching and hunting by humans. The latest threat comes as lion bones are used as ingredients of traditional Asian medicine to replace tiger bones are becoming increasingly rare today.
