ROOPKUND is a glacial lake located at an altitude of 5029 meters in Uttarakhand, India. When the ice melts, hundreds skeleton human body will float on the surface of the lake.

Roopkund Lake was first discovered in 1942. Initially, people were speculating if the bones belonged to a Japanese soldier killed by hostile weather in World War II.
