"People talk about El Clasico, and we knew we had to win. We played a great game, we have to play as usual and finish with a win," said the Argentina international's.
"El Clasico is an important and complicated, but we have a good squad to go there. All El Clasico is important, no matter how our condition and they are," he explained.
Besides, Messi also commented on Victor Valdes who will leave Barcelona for refusing to renew his contract. Messi also regretted the absence of the captain of Real Madrid, Iker Casillas in El Clasico match later.
"He deserves more applause, for me he is the best goalkeeper in the history of the club," he said.
"Casillas sidelined for El Clasico? Obviously he was very important to them (Madrid), he saved a lot of games, but we do not have to think about it," he concluded.
