15 killed in bomb explodes in Afghanistan

KABUL - A suicide bomber convoy United States (U.S.) in Kabul, killing 15 people. Among the dead are six U.S. citizens.

The strength of the explosion had rocked other areas in Afghanistan's capital city. As troops ran undertake relief following an explosion.

A militant group finally admitted responsibility for the bombing. Group Hizb-e-Islami said the bombing was carried out by a suicide bomber unit formed to attack U.S. interests in Afghanistan.

"We continue to observe the movement of American forces during one week to learn their routines, before finally do attack," the militant statement, as quoted by the Associated Press on Saturday (05/18/2013).

Recognition of the Hizb-e-Islami has raised questions about the security procedures implemented by U.S. forces in Afghanistan. Through such attacks, it is clear that security procedures are valid for this can still be penetrated by the militants. (Faj)
