NEW DELHI-Google Doodle today to celebrate International Labor Day, also known as May Day. Every May 1 be the moment for the international workers to voice their aspirations.

Reported by IndiaTimes, Wednesday (01/05/2013), Doodle depicting various professions men and women on the giant logo. Profession is described as a woman who is typing, the man who was watering the plants, painting and patching leaks woman officer.

Each year more than 80 countries celebrate Labor Day, although some countries consider it is not a meaningful thing. Germany, France, Portugal, Russia, Spain, United Kingdom, United States, Iran, Mexico, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, South America, Canada and Australia is a country that does not celebrate International Labor Day.

Wikipedia describes Labor Day is an annual holiday to celebrate the achievements of workers. The origins of Labor Day originated from the proposed trade union movement that requires eight hours of work, eight hours recreation and eight hours for rest. (amr)
