Palestinian UN agencies release without presence of Israel Map

RAMALLAH - the United Nations body that manages humanitarian aid (UNRWA) released a new map of Palestine. In the map, show the entire territory of Israel described as Palestinian territory.

This map torn opposition from Israel. The advent of the map making UNRWA accused of supporting anti-Israeli sentiment. UNRWA photo released map was distributed by the organization Palestinian Media Watch (PMW).

Photos are spread by the PWA map shows the whole territory of Israel and the territories controlled by the Palestinian Authority as a state. Maps also include the PLO flag and reads "Arab Palestine". The cities included in the Palestinian state, among others, Jerusalem, Joppa (Jaffa), Haifa and Be'er Sheva.

According to UNRWA official website, pictures of the map was taken in info UNRWA event attended by high office Palestine and Lebanon. But UNRWA spokesman Christopher Gunnes push from PMW's report.

Though admitted that the photos are real, Gunner rejected the notion that UNRWA has removed Israel from the map. "Map at issue is a map showing the Palestinian territories before 1948. Become directed false accusations," said Gunnes, as quoted by Israel Nation News, Wednesday (22/05/2013).

But the defense of Gunnes opposed by the PMW. According to their defense that the map was based on the 1948 map was not based defense.

"On the map that we spread the word clearly specified flag is not the flag of the PLO flag of England," said the PMW.

Until now not known the truth from the map. Israeli media alleged that a group PMW exactly is the cluster can not be trusted, as he was PMW has also used the name for UNRWA to support the Palestinian struggle. (phage)
