Police Shoot Elderly, Sweden riot

STOCKHOLM - Riots occurred in the city of Stockholm, Sweden. situasion was sparked police violence that killed 69-year-old grandfather last week.

Grandfather was killed while holed up in his apartment. Instead of issuing him alive, the police actually shot the grandfather dead.

Unrest began last Monday, May 20. Hundreds of youths pelted police with rocks and set fire to cars parked on the street.

"People have been fed up with police brutality, so they react like this," said a resident of Stockholm Reza al-Bazi, as quoted by the Associated Press, Wednesday (22/05/2013).

Riots by immigrant population in Sweden. So far, the relationship between the immigrant population with Swedish authorities was strained.

"Their behavior can not be justified. We tried to ease the tension, "said Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt.

Immigrant population in Sweden a lot of discrimination. The apparatus used to call them with insulting words like "monkey", "rat" and "nigger".
