THE fashion industry in the country is proving to be quite significant. Of course this is inversely proportional to its neighbors, Singapore.

Although more advanced and often referred to as a shopping paradise, apparently the lion population in the country is still less stylish than Indonesia. This is also acknowledged by the designer Ari Seputra.

"Singapore was the worst stylish in the world. Because they are not stylish at all. Dressed very casual, baseball is the style," he said when met at Plaza Indonesia, Central Jakarta, recently.

"Unlike when we were dressed very stylishly, trying to look nice," he added.

Ari himself is following the fashion trends in Singapore. Moreover, work clothing is also sold there.

"Collection which there is regular because more voters. They are also more sensitive fabric, styling the same price. Then also asked how to wash them first, because they do not like to be bothered," he concluded. (ind)
